Changxin Storage's LPDDR6 has officially entered mass production.
On August 28, ChangXin Memory Technologies officially announced the mass production of LPDDR6 memory, marking an important milestone in the domestic high-end mobile memory sector. According to disclosures, the Xuanjie O3 chip became the first platform to support CXMT's LPDDR6, and the Xiaomi 18 Fold will be the first to feature this domestic high-end memory solution. As a new-generation low-power memory standard, LPDDR6 is mainly aimed at flagship smartphones, AI terminals, and thin-and-light computing devices, with bandwidth and energy efficiency requirements far exceeding those of previous generations. The mass production of CXMT's LPDDR6 means that the competitiveness of domestic memory in the high-end mobile market has improved significantly, breaking the long-standing dominance of Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron in this field. Market analysts believe that against the backdrop of rapidly rising memory performance requirements for AI edge devices, the timing of CXMT's LPDDR6 mass production is opportune, and it is expected to secure sustained order support in domestic flagship models.
