Date Time£º2026.03.06
Several major American technology companies are urgently adjusting their operations in the Middle East to ensure the safety of their employees.

5th News: Following the attack on Amazon's data center, Nvidia and Amazon have also been affected by the conflict. The former has temporarily closed its office in Dubai, while the latter's employees have been forced to stay in Dubai.
On March 4th, according to CNBC, after the United States and Israel jointly launched an air strike against Iran last weekend, regional security risks have increased. On Tuesday morning, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang sent a notice to all employees, announcing that it has temporarily closed its office in Dubai and requiring local employees to work remotely to avoid security risks. Nvidia's crisis management team is actively providing support to affected employees and their families.
Huang Renxun stated in the email that as of Tuesday morning, all affected Nvidia employees and their immediate family members had been confirmed to be safe. The company has approximately 6,000 permanent employees in Israel. This research and development base originated from the acquisition of the Israeli company Mellanox in 2019.
"NVIDIA is deeply rooted in the Middle East. We have thousands of colleagues living there, and many colleagues from all over the world have family and friends who have also been affected by these events. Like everyone else, I am also closely concerned about the safety of the members of our NVIDIA family." He said emotionally in the email.
In addition, Google also faces challenges related to employee safety. According to informed sources, due to the disruption of air traffic, dozens of Google employees were stranded in Dubai after attending the "Accelerate" sales launch conference. In response, Google stated that the majority of the affected employees were not based in the United States but local employees from the Middle East. The company has implemented corresponding safety measures for employees in that region and advised them to strictly follow the guidance of the local government.
"The situation in the Middle East is evolving rapidly and we are closely monitoring it," a Google spokesperson emphasized in an email statement. "Our priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees in the region."
At the international level, the US State Department has issued a security alert. The department stated on Monday that due to the "serious security risks" in the Middle East, it urged Americans to "immediately leave" using existing commercial transportation. By Tuesday afternoon, as the situation became more volatile, the State Department further announced that it was working to coordinate military aircraft and charter flights to assist American citizens in evacuating from the region.
